Gilera GP 800
The Gilera brand that belongs to the Italian group Piaggio just launch the GP 800 scooter with bi-cylindrical motor of 839 cc in V to 90 degrees, refrigerated by water, 75 CV to 7250 rpm and 76.4 Nm and a maximum torque motor of 5,750 rpm. This hot vehicle is capable to reach the 200 km/h from 0 to 100km /h in just 5,7 seconds- This new concept of sportive scooter has entered strongly braked into the maxi-scooters market. Monopolized by the moment by Yamaha with their XMAX or Suzuki with their Burgman.
The GP motor 800 has been a revolution in relation to its previous brother the Nexus 500. The stability has been displaced toward the central part of the motorcycle for the better, although this detail had taken away capacity from the coffer below the seat where it doesn’t fit a whole helmet.
The transmission is in charge of a chain with links instead of strap without support.
The bascule is from aluminum and is accompanied by an only fully adjustable spring preload back shock absorber.
Brakes: Two 300mm front discs with double piston calipers.
Pneumatic tires: 120/70 R16 in front and 160/60 R15 back.
The instrument board is similar to the MP3, Fuoco or XEvo, all-round, very complete with analogical and digital information. Its price will be of 9200 euros.
