KTM Duke 690

The Austrian company had surprise again to all with the launch of this single-cylinder motorcycle based in the LC4 motor. This 654-cc motor gives 65 CV turning it into the naked single-cylinder more powerful that had existed.

It has a light molybdenum multi tubular chassis that guarantees an excellent stability and a minimal weight, in total the motorcycle don’t pass the 148 kg dry.

The cycle part has an inverted front WP fourchette of 48 mm totally adjustable bars. The simple shock absorber takes care of the back suspension, and finds itself anchored to a progressive Pro-Lever system. The 140 mm in the two axes make to the Duke a motorcycle thought to roll along asphalt.

This beauty has a Brembo disc system: a 320 mm Double floating disc with four piston caliper at front and at the back we have a 240 mm disc and a piston caliper.

The Duke takes the muffler at the lower part of the motorcycle. That allows to have a lower gravity center and it reduces the volume level. The catalyst that it incorporate fulfills the environmental Euro 3 normative.
