The North American manufacturer has done his duties and created this super sportive to face up the Asiatic and American competition. With a bi-cylindrical Helicón in V to 72º motor, double camshaft head and liquid refrigeration. The BRP Rotax motor is developed by the Austrian company and is capable to reach 146 CV of power to 9.800 rpm and a maximum torque of 111 Nm to 8.000 rpm.

The distribution from the motor has gotten modified to get a gradual delivery of potency and optimal potency in the whole revolution range.

According to the manufacturer Website each detail from the 1125R has been designed thinking in the most important part of the motorcycle, the pilot. That way, the design in addition to be very aggressive fulfills the duty to give bigger comfort to the pilot deviating the airflow that is generated circulating at high speed.

The chassis from the 1125R has been retouched to offer an easier and a bigger torsional rigidity for the driving. Buell has reduced the weight of some components to get a more contained global weight. For example the front wheel weight has been lightened and now has a ZTL brake system that works with 8 piston caliper on a single disc. The caliper of the back brake has been mounted directly on the bascule and it has been substituted the conventional steel chain for a transmission belt that weighs only 480 g.
