<p>The 2008 ZX 14 preserves all the characteristics that turned this motor into a legend, in addition to improvements in the performance at low, medium and high regimen. The modifications in the motor and escape system fulfill the strict standards of the Euro III normative and noise emissions.</p>
<p>To fulfill with the noise normative, the engineers focused in the reduction of the mechanic noise instead of muzzling the escape system. The result was a potency loss, but a global improvement in the characteristics of the motor but with a real increment of the &#8216;peak&#8217; potency.</p>
<p>In order to reach the strict emissions levels, has been incorporated a third catalyst comb in the collector in addition to the two panels that already has on each muffler.</p>
<p>A new valves commutation system ( ASV ) make possible that the emissions decrease a 5% in relation to the version of the last year.</p>
<p>The reduction of the mechanical noise allowed the engineers to make the escape system to flow free and with more power. The low mechanical noise was succeeded through the revision of the piston profiles and adding a urethan isolation sheet on the interior of the cover of the magnesium chain.</p>
